چکیده
Objective: The objective of this ex-vivo study is to compare the mean working length (in terms accurate length) with different intra-canal irrigant solutions in extracted teeth. Materials and Method: This experimental was conducted Operative dentistry department at Rehman College Dentistry Peshawar, from January 2019 June 2019. Sample size calculated using WHO sample calculator V.2.0 (1.1) 95 % confidence interval 90 power by statistics electronic WL sodium hypochlorite (NaOCl) 18.84+2.5313 19.33+2.50 for Chlorhexidine13. Non-probability sampling technique used. 120 single-rooted human permanent teeth were selected. Actual root canal lengths an model alginate as a medium replicate periodontal tissues presence irrigants each group. All readings recorded Performa. Data analysed SPSS version 17 descriptive statistics. One way ANOVA used four groups overall effect. For all comparisons, statiscal significance considered p<0.05. Results: There statistically significant difference means actual determined one-way (P=0.001). In accuracy, 2% CHX most showing -0.18 between compared 17% EDTA -0.47, 5.25% NaOCl -0.53 normal saline -0.53. Conclusion: It can be concluded that Root ZX safely determine within + 0.5mm length. Among irrigating solutions, EAL gave best results chlorhexidine gluconate.

Introduction: Radiography is the most common method for measurement of working length, though it is not the ideal method because of technical problems, radiation hazard, superimposition of permanent teeth bud on primary teeth, and so on. Electronic Apex Locator (EAL) is a device for determination of working length. Therefore, this study aimed to compare the accuracy of an electronic apex locato...
